So far Stockholm University has not been famous for its Distance Learning possibilities. The philosophy that SU is a Campus university has dominated the education for a long time.
But now the university management realizes that there is a real need for flexible learning instruments and information, web based courses and electronic communication systems for teachers and students at Stockholm University as well as at other universities.
The last sentence at this slide is not the less important. I use to say that if we cannot be sure of the continuation there is no idea to start the project.
